NSPCC’s Speak out, Stay safe programme

This week we have shared NSPCC’s Speak out, Stay safe programme.

Speak out, Stay safe is a programme for children aged 5-11 which aims to help children understand abuse in all its forms and to recognise the signs of abuse. Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a safe adult or Childline.

If you would like to know more about the Speak out. Stay safe. programme visit www.nspcc.org.uk/speakout.

We were so lucky this morning to link in live to 4LEGS local radio, where our recent Music concert at Brightwalton Church was broadcast for everyone to have a chance of listening to the amazing musical talents of our children!

From singing, to drumming, to piano and ukulele!

Penny, from Penny Post, popped in to enjoy some of the broadcast with us too!

The Summer Reading challenge was introduced to us in our worship this morning,

it has an arts & craft focus his year with the 'Marvellous Makers'.

We just need to pop into any local library to sign up, there are challenges for all ages this year- even grown ups!

For additional activities, games, competitions and suggestions for further reading visit https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

And not forgetting... Sports Day!!

Wow, what super effort, wonderful weather, enthusiasm and fun!

Well done to everyone and thank you for all your support!
