We've seen the water cycle in action this week!

Our own mini water cycle was set up for us to observe the processes of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, run off and accumulation.

It was fascinating!

Our Geography and Science learning has been the inspiration for our D&T linkage and lever moving pictures.

Our prototypes we made last week gave us an insight into what worked, or what needed to be adjusted on our plans. So, feeling confident we made our final product.

As we made we discussed the various components (lever, fixed pivot, loose pivot, bridge) and the mechanisms we created...

We have enjoyed another chapter of 'Wind in the Willows' this week, and been introduced to Toad and his canary-yellow caravan!

Our writing tasks included an advert for Toad's gipsy caravan and a summary of our reading so far.

Maths learning this week has focused on angles.

Ask us what an angle is!

We've been learning to identify, name and compare angles too...
