Welcome back! I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas break. We have had a lovely start to the new term and our topic of "Journeys." The children have enjoyed reading and learning the story "Hamilton's Hats" by Martine Oborne. Over the coming weeks the children will be writing their own version of this story.

In science we have started to think about the seasons and in art, we have been thinking about landscapes. The children really enjoyed looking at and talking about photos of different landscapes. We then braved our seasonal weather to go outside and have a look at the landscape around our school. The children did some lovely sketches of what they saw!

Finally, we have also been thinking a lot about trust, our value for the term and what it means to the children.
