We have almost made it to the end of the academic year. What a busy year it has been! The children have certainly "lived their life in all its fullness".
This week on Monday to Wednesday our main focus has been getting all of Year 1 and Year 2 finishing their puppets and evaluating them. We think you will agree, they look amazing! Have a look below at our super puppets.
Can your child find their puppet?
Year 2 have also enjoyed playing a times table snakes and ladders game. The times tables are so important. Please keep going over these during the holidays. In particular the two times, five times and ten times tables. If your child is confident with these, please move on to the three times table.
What a final full week it has been! From making puppets to taking the step into Year 3 and Year 2 for our transition sessions and then taking part in our final PE session with Coach Tom!
We can't thank Coach Tom enough for the fun he has brought to our PE lessons and how week after week he has shown such patience when teaching us skills across so many different sports!
It has made all of us in both Year 1 and Year 2 excited to see what PE brings next year!
On Monday everyone is very excited to be going on our Yearly whole school trip and this year we are heading to Cotswold Water Park and Beach!
You will need to bring with you a small to medium sized bag that can fit the following items in it;
Your lunch- Please made sure that you've either preordered this or that you bring this with you
A full water bottle
A sun hat- It is likely to be warm so you will need a sun hat to put on to keep you safe in the sun.
Please apply sun cream before school and you can also bring a small bottle with you.
A change of clothes in case you get wet when we are paddling! Remember to give permission though so your child can paddle!
Don't forget to pack a small towel to help you dry off afterwards!
When we're not paddling don't forget that you can pack a small spade and bucket to have some fun in the sand with!
We can't wait to see you on Monday ready for our trip to the Cotswold Water Park and Beach together, don't forget to pack everything you need!
