Optional home learning EYFS and KS1

6 activities to choose from over the next few days;

1) Play some games.

Which games can you play with family at home?

Maybe snakes and ladders, snap or dominos?

Remember to take turns and follow the game rules.

2) Scavenger hunt.

Can you gather items at home to build your own rainbow?

7 colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

3) Why not try some Cosmic Yoga as a cool way to keep your body moving?

Choose your favourite theme and follow the story yoga moves.

4) Number hunt.

How many different types of numbers can you find around your home?

Jot down the numbers you find and talk about why they are there.

I’m starting with the kitchen clock…

5) Be an author, and illustrator.

The weather is so hot at the moment.

Can you write your own story, with pictures too, to tell us about things you enjoy to do in the summer?

6) Water safety reminders during hot weather.

RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) have shared the water safety code cartoon (click this link) to raise awareness and educate children in water safety and lifesaving skills.
