Autumn 1 Week 8

As we reach the end of our first term, we would like to say how proud we are of all the children. It has been a fantastic and busy term, and they have worked incredibly hard and certainly deserve a well-earned break!

This week, we enjoyed our final Forest School session, where we took part in a scavenger hunt and learned how to make a fire. The children particularly loved toasting apples over the fire, which they said were delicious!

In English, we finished writing our informal letters from Duck, explaining why he decided to leave home. The children worked hard to include their ideas and feelings in their writing.

A huge well done to Otto, Everly, Maddie and Georgia for confidently reading the Harvest Prayers during Tuesday morning's Harvest Service. We were all very proud of them.

Thank you for all your support this term. Wishing everyone a restful and enjoyable half-term break.
