Welcome back to term 6!

Our focus text this week, 'The River', has carried on our poetry learning from last term, but this time we've been thinking more about rhyme!

The focus of the text also brings our new Geography learning to the forefront of our minds too for rivers and the water cycle.

We've worked hard to consider key words for our own poetry linked to rivers and then gathered banks of rhyming words. Our challenge was to write our own rhyming couplets with a river theme. Here's some of our published writing...
