We have had a very busy week!

The children have worked hard to show off their learning through our assessments. They have worked well to try and improve their own score from last time. The improvement in some of the spellings scores was amazing. Apart from assessments, we have been very focused on rehearsing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Everyone had their costumes and we made sure all our props were ready. We had several run throughs and I was very proud of what they have achieved. They remembered their lines, when they came on and how to ensure the audience can hear them. Only 4 days to go!!

PE was all about rounders. The children practiced their fielding and batting, playing mini games to use the skills they had been taught. In History, we learnt about the different kingdoms in ancient Egypt. The children could compare them and recall the dates they happened.
