What an excellent second week in Red Kites! We have immersed ourselves in a range of Greek myths! Ask your child how many titles they can remember! We have been working on our oracy skills using drama to help us retell and rewrite a learnt myth so that we can begin to create our own next week. In maths, the children have been deepening their understanding of place value and we are so impressed in their stamina as they have taken a big step up working with 6 and 7 digit numbers. We are thoroughly enjoying our class text: Who let the Gods out? 

I have been fortunate enough to catch up with quite a few sets of parents who have shared really positive comments about how well the children are settling in. Thank you for your continued support.

Homework and spellings will start from Monday 18th September. Please continue to read at home everyday.
