'Mission to Marathon' by Geoffrey Trease has been the inspiration in school this week.

Seven chapters about Phillip saving his family members from the Persians because they were having a battle in Marathon.

All of this week's projects linked to the book, using skills like courage, endurance, team work and compassion.

It has been a busy, fun week! 

At the end of this busy Greek week we've achieve so much!

An authentic Greek shield with Medusa's face on the front,

a golden Greek helmet,

a shiny, silver sword,

a postcard home from Phillip and

yummy, homemade honey cake to enjoy!

Everyone is excited to see Red Kites back in school together next week!
