Red Kites have done it again! They have missed Miss Oram this week but they have done her proud with their fantastic learning! Not only that but they filled their gem jar - well done! Gems are awarded to children when they use Christian values to complete learning, help others, show kindness and in many other ways too. What a lovely way to end the term!
In maths, Year 5 have been learning how to add fractions with different denominators while Year 6 have been learning how to multiply and divide fractions.
Mr Mandry the Sports Leader from Park House School led a wellbeing workshop for Red Kites on Wednesday. They had fun together, thought about how to work in a team and discussed the importance of friendship. Thank you Mr Mandry!
In English, the children shared their speeches and completed a final free write for the term. They wowed us with parenthesis, relative clauses, carefully chosen vocabulary and stories that were well-structured.
The week ended with netball and a gem jar treat! Have a lovely half term break Red Kites!
