14th March

This week has flown by! A busy sporting week for Red Kites as the girls football team enjoyed their tournament and came home with silver medals! On Thursday a mixed team participated in a touch rugby event winning 2/4 of their matches - great work! On Friday Level 1 Bikeability was a great success with all participants passing. We saw bravery and confidence. One child commenting 'that was the best thing I've ever done!' We look forward to those participating in Level 2 next week.
Our new Red Kites Library is up and running. The children will be signing their books in and out and putting them back in our library in alphabetical order of the author's surname.
In PSHE we had a task thinking about our Dreams and Goals and what life could be like for us when we grow up. We had long discussions around whether our Dreams and Goals are possible without money... From this we talked about the steps to take to get there.
Reverend Mike visited us on Wednesday morning as part of our RE curriculum learning. He shared the story of Jesus and the last supper and the betrayal of his good friend Judas. We look forward to more learning with Reverend Mike in a couple of weeks as we talk more about Jesus' sacrifice.
Thank you for your continued support.
Wishing you a restful weekend.
