Term Time Holiday Request

The DFE has advised us that holidays should NOT be taken in term time. They advise a Headteacher to consider the following points when deciding whether to authorise the holiday request:

Approval will NOT be given for pupils with low attendance records (less than 95%).
Long weekends and days off will NOT normally be authorised as term time holiday.

If you feel there are exceptional reasons why holiday should be taken during term time, you can apply to have your request considered - providing you do so at least four weeks before the proposed holiday.
